Animal Christmas Card/ Circular Signs/ Bin Labels

Hi everyone, a little sample of what I've been doing today: Editing my volunteer Christmas card to contain parts of both crocodile and monkey designs. Using the image given of the cute prairie marmot, testing some layouts for a circular shape sign and creating some line work for the bin labels to be printed on vinyl and stuck on the bins instead of sticky back paper, this will hopefully prevent damage by visitors and weather.

Hello all it's me again, another tuesday update for you :) Here's a few bits I did at the zoo today. Finished off the christmas cards as seen in previous posts and started a poster to encourage school students to bring their old phones into the zoo to be recycled. I also did a vinyl banner to go outside to match my Christmas menu but thats only line work so hopefully i'll be able to take a picture of that one once it's all finished and cut out.

Hi all! A few bits and pieces from work, you'll see the snail sign I started a while ago but here's one with some info and with option of gecko photo and gecko illustration on each ID. Above Mr snail are some border illustrations to go on powerpoints when things are presented to education groups at the zoo.

The title of this post very much explains how I'm feeling about my work experience at the zoo right now, I think it's brilliant. I'm learning, work with some lovely people and have been lucky enough to have been given lots of different projects to work on independently, so everything is very nice and I'm very happy to be doing something I love.
Above is a birthday card design, for children who have their birthday party at the zoo to be given and a snail to be used on bug world signage.

Hello everyone, sorry i haven't blogged in a little while.. my work experience at the zoo is keeping me busy! I've been working on lots of different things, helping out the graphics department while I'm at the zoo and doing another little project at the same time. Spent this week cut off from the outside world due to broken phone - so multiple Illustrations for you. I had a sudden urge to create a random pony/unicorn Illustration after a brainwave before sleeping- this seems to be happening more often. (I may need to lay off the cheese, or increase cheese consumption.)
